Director – Concert Band

Linda Davidson earned her undergraduate degree in Music Education from James Madison University and her master’s degree in Music Education from Boston University.

She has taught Elementary Orchestra and Band in Prince William County Public Schools and now teaches Elementary Band in Fairfax County Public Schools. Linda has been the director of the Mount Vernon Community Band since 2013. Over the years, she has played her flute in a number of ensembles both large and small, and currently plays occasionally in her church.

Linda is delighted that the Mount Vernon Community Concert Band is once again able to present live performances, playing music for our own pleasure and for the enjoyment of the community.
