The Mount Vernon German Band provides over a
dozen performances in September and October to civic organizations, church
fund raisers and community associations, and at Mount Vernon Days, the
annual Mount Vernon District Civic Fair at Walt Whitman Middle School.
Orgainzed by Jim Kasik, with only five musicians, the German Band has grown
to 25 musicians, if the food is good.
